Considered to be a "brain food" Ghee is said to promote all aspects of mental functioning, learning, memory and recall.
Ghee aids digestion and nutrient assimilation. Suitable for lactose intolerant people.
During the making of Ghee it transforms into a monounsaturated fat, similar to olive oil which is associated with good health.
Can be used as a substitute for butter in cakes, biscuits, etc, sauteing, roasting, baking and enhancing steamed vegetables or rice.
