Sesame is full of vitamins, minerals and omega 6 fatty acids. The key nutrition in sesame is “Sesame Lignan” which is also known as sesame’s antioxidants and a group of flavonoid. The major compound of sesame lignan is “Sesamin”. It reaches the liver while other antioxidants are normally used up before reaching the liver. Inside the liver it works to help the liver function. “Sesamin” removes free radicals, which cause fatigue, aging and variety of diseases. “Sesamin “ protects Vitamin E from free radicals, and Vitamin E can work as antioxidant all over the body. Sesamin is not accumulated in the body.
